Terms
Name the Roster is a free fan game. By playing, you agree to these terms.
Unofficial
Name the Roster is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league, team, players association, or player. Team and player names are used only to say which roster a round is about. All trademarks belong to their owners.
Rosters
Rosters come from public sources and refresh every night. We work to keep them right, but we cannot promise every roster is complete or current at every moment. A round always uses the roster it started with.
Playing fair
Do not use tools to cheat, overload the site, or copy it in bulk. Names on challenges must not be offensive, hateful, or impersonate someone. We may block names or rounds that break these rules.
No prizes, no betting
There are no prizes, no paid entries, and no wagering. Scores and tiers are for bragging rights only.
Text messages
If you are 18 or older and check the text box when you sign up, Name the Roster may send you game alerts and offers, up to 4 messages a month, starting when text alerts launch. Texts may be sent using automated technology. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. You can also write to support@nametheroster.com. Consent is not required to play or buy anything. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Accounts
Signing up is optional and free. Give us accurate information, and only your own email or cell number. You must be 13 or older to sign up.
No warranty
The game is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it.
Changes
We may change the game or these terms. If we change the terms, we will update the date at the top.
